Implications of omega-3 fatty acids in pregnancy and lactation
Omega-3 fatty acids are a class of fats that have several health benefits. The two major Omega-3 Fatty Acids are Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA). Since they are not synthesized by the body, it is important to obtain them through diet.
